Lookup a disc
Search the CRC database by fingerprint or individual fields.
What is this?
Every CD rip produces a unique per-track checksum (CRC). By collecting checksums from thousands of rips, the database can tell you with confidence whether your rip is bit-perfect — no proprietary software, no gatekeeping, no API keys.
How it works
- 1. Rip your CD with Flacify or any tool that speaks the API
- 2. The CRC for each track is computed and submitted automatically
- 3. Query the database anytime — check your rip against every other submission of the same disc
Why another database?
AccurateRip is closed — only EAC and dBpoweramp can submit. The public query endpoint has been retired.
CTDB is open-source but requires complex parity submissions, making it hard to contribute.
Flacify CRC DB is one HTTP POST per rip. No syndromes, no DLLs, no registration. MIT.
